Just off the NCN88 cycle route between Penarth and Barry are Cosmeston lakes which are the prefect place for family cycle rides.
The lakes are surrounded by approximately 1.65mile (2665m) of gravel paths which provide flat, easy going cycle paths suitable for all the family. In addition these cycling routes allow superb views of the wildlife such as mute swans, mallards, herons, egrets and diving birds such as the great crested grebe.
There is also a great cafe for a well earned rest after!
Please see here for Cosmeston information.
Please stick to the gravel paths when cycling around Cosmeston.
