Penarth Pier stands majestically looking out over the Severn estuary and is home to the iconic 1929 art deco styled refurbished Pavilion building.
The Pavilion offers exhibitions, films and a full events schedule including live music and locally sourced food and drink that can be enjoyed by the sea with picturesque views across the Bristol Channel.
If the pier holds special memories for you then you may be interested in the Penarth Pier plaques scheme and is also a port of call for the Balmoral Pleasure Cruiser.
Fishing is permitted at the end of the pier except during June, July and August. Permits are not required and there is no charge to fish on the pier.
Restrictions on access for dogs applies.
Open all year. (Except Christmas Day and New Year's Day)
