The Basics
We’re all about showcasing the beauty and joy of the Vale of Glamorgan, so please share photos that capture what makes our area special — especially the happy faces and people enjoying our stunning surroundings! Your photos should inspire visitors and locals alike to discover and fall in love with the Vale.
When you submit your photos, please add as many details as you can, including the location where the picture was taken. Your images could be featured in our Visitors Guide or across our websites and social channels — seen by thousands of people, with full credit to you!
The Instructions
Step 1: Upload your photo(s) taken in the Vale of Glamorgan that best capture the spirit of our beautiful area
Step 2: Enter your name and email address so we can contact you if you’re selected as the winner.
Step 3: Click Upload! By submitting your photos, you agree to our Rules & Regulations.
We do not accept photos that are offensive, violent, or inappropriate.
The Rules
- One winner will be chosen every quarter.
- You can submit photos until the quarter closes.
- A minimum of 20 photos must be entered for judging and prizes to be awarded. If 20 entries aren’t reached, submissions remain open until that number is met.
- Winners will be contacted within 15 days after the quarter ends.
- Photos with subtle watermarks will generally will be accepted.
- Only photos taken within the Vale of Glamorgan will be accepted.
- You must be a resident of the UK.
- All photos must be family-friendly.
- No photos from previous contests or collages are allowed.
- Only upload photos you have taken yourself. No photos from hired photographers or others.
- Judges’ decisions are final.
- We reserve the right to update these rules anytime without notice.
Important
Once you upload your photo you agree to let Visit the Vale use this for marketing purposes with full credit given.
