Paws in the Vale
'Paws in the Vale'
Welcoming the whole family, four legged friends too!
Dogs need a holiday too, and where better to take them than the beach for long runs and a splash around in the sea? If you’re planning your break and don’t want to leave your furry friend at home, the Vale of Glamorgan welcomes the whole family, four legged friends and all.
With our spectacular Glamorgan Heritage Coast, miles and miles of beautiful beaches, wooded valleys and varied landscape, you and your dog will have great days out for a walk, sniff and explore! We’re the perfect place for a holiday, weekend break or a day trip with your faithful friend.
As well as enjoying fabulous walkies, your dog will also enjoy great dog friendly shops, places to visit, and places to eat and drink. Many of our pubs open their doors to dogs, and some even offer homemade doggy treats!
If you need a great place to stay, check out the dog friendly accommodation. You will find a range of choice from quaint B&B's, campsites, hotels and caravan parks and for the perfectly pampered pooch, there are a great range of services available locally to make sure your pet has the best time in the Vale.
Download our dog friendly welcome leaflet for our tips on enjoying the Vale of Glamorgan with your dog.
Our network of Vale Trails are perfect for keeping your doggies entertained. Of our ten trails we have hand picked some that are ideal for our four legged friends. And with nine of our fourteen beaches allowing dogs all year, or better still, ALL offering no dog restrictions between 30th Sept to 1st May, your dog will just love their holiday in the Vale.
