Beach Wheelchairs at Barry Island

There are three chairs which are available for loan and are free to use. They can be pushed accross the sand without sinking, thanks to their wide wheels and unique design.

The beach wheelchairs can be collected from the new ‘Changing Places’ facility situated behind Marco’s on the Western promenade.

Please see one of the resort attendants when you arrive and they will give you access to the facility.

The beach wheelchairs were provided by the Vale-based Intersensory Club and a private donation.
